As a New Jersey based studio we are often asked to perform our services in the “Big Apple” and for those getting married in New York City, planning will ensure that you capture the many incredible images offered by the city that never sleeps.

We recently shot a wedding in Manhattan, with the ceremony held at the famous St. Patrick’s Cathedral and, the reception at the exclusive Barclay Hotel.

The bride and groom had always dreamed of a New York City Wedding, which was particularly special to Giustino, who came in from Italy with a large family, who expecting a great wedding with photographs at some of New York’s hot spots.

Anyone who has travel to NYC would confirm that although NYC has some of the best sights in the world; it can be a challenge in getting around to them.

After getting an understanding from the couple regarding the images the wanted, we organized them from most to least important.

With some pre-planning and some luck, we were able to capture the family at many of New York’s, must see locations.

So, if you’re planning on getting married in NYC or any other big city, plan ahead, use vendors familiar with the area, and have a “must have”  list and a “nice to have” list of spots for photos and always remember what photo can’t capture video can.

If you have a “Big City” wedding let me know how your plans are going and what if any questions you may have.
